Llanrug won the Mawddach Challenge Cup Final on penalties at Bangor City

The match finished 2 - 2 after 90 minutes and extra time which saw no goals so the match ended up going to spot kicks which Llanrug took 7 - 6 to lift the cup and dash Glantraeth's chance of an impressive treble of league and cups for the season

Llanrug were awarded 2 penalties in the 90 minutes which they scored both where as Glantraeth's Corrig Mcgonigle scored twice in the game to take his tally to 59 goals for the season and will more than likely take the golden boot for the leagues highest scorer to add to his impressive goal tally in the cups this season
