Charity Match for Gwion Williams

Gwion Williams plays for Llanberis FC in the Welsh Alliance League and is an ex player of Llanrug FC.
Thanks to both clubs who arranged a match today to raise money for Gwion and his family. Gwion was involved in an accident recently on the A55 and is seriously ill in hospital at Stoke. Over £3500.00 was raised during the match and thanks to all who participated and supported the match and all who contributed so well to the fund and money is still rolling in.

Very well done on your excellent organisation of today's match at Padarn Road to Raise money for Gwion's Family. I think the turnout was terrific and it will be a big boost to Gwion's Family to hear of the support received today.

It cannot have been easy to arrange this event so early in the season at short notice and the day after league matches so hats off to you all.

Could you please pass on my thanks to Eurwyn Thomas your chairman who I had a quick chat to on my arrival but did not see later to congratulate him on the Excellent facilities that you now have at Padarn Road and wish you a successful season.
