Ioan Llewellyn takes over from Steve Smith

Following Steve Smith's decision to step down as manager for personal reasons, Cpd Llanfairpwll FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Ioan Llewelyn as the new manager! The club and committee are extremely grateful to Steve for his hard work and commitment over the last 12 months, and are very happy he is staying with the club as a player. Ioan brings with him a wealth of experience having coached at New York Red Bulls, Bangor City FC, Porthmadog FC, and of course he played for Llanfairpwll FC for a number of years

Statement from the new manager Ioan Llewellyn;

I am delighted to accept the offer of becoming the manager of Llanfairpwll FC. Llanfairpwll was the first senior club that I played for and so its fitting that my first senior managerial role is at the same club. I understand that the club has endured a difficult period recently but I hope that we can increase the squad numbers over the next couple of weeks to become competitive. I'm very much looking forward to managing the club and working with the players.

Rydw I yn falch iawn I o gael derbyn swydd Rheolwr CPD Llanfairpwll. Chwareuais fy ngem cyntaf fel chwareuwyr hyn i'r clwb flynyddoedd yn ol ac felly yn falch mai fy swydd cyntaf fel rheolwr peldroed fydd hefyd gyda Llanfairpwll unwaith eto. Yn amlwg mae'r clwb wedi cael cyfnod annodd yn ddiweddar ond gobeithio y medrwn gynyddu y niferoedd yn y garfan dros yr wythnosa nesa. Rydw I yn edrych ymlaen yn fawr I arwain tim ac I weithio efo'r chwaraeuwyr.
