Glantraeth lose Committee member

Long Serving Committee Len Jones

Everyone at Glantraeth is saddened to hear that long serving committeeman Len Jones passed away on Thursday night in Ysbyty Gwynedd. Len was one of the founding members of the club in 1984 and even though in poor health was still attending games and taking gate money until only a few weeks ago. He was a great fundraiser and also a former chairman of the club. Len was a leading member of the community as deacon of Sardis Chapel in Malltraeth until its closure. He was one of our most vocal supporters and will be well known to most match officials! We offer our deepest sympathy to his son Aled and family. There will be a minute's silence at our next home game.
