Great day for the Welsh Alliance clubs & north wales in the trophy 5th round
With the results in, its looking good for a team in north wales to get to the final and maybe even walk away with the trophy once again this year
In the last 10 years the Trophy had come north 7 times & 5 of those 7 winners have come from the Welsh Alliance league, with last years champions Chirk AAA being put out in this round by 2013-14 winner Llanrug Utd On Pens
There is a high possibility of an all Welsh Alliance Quarter final tie with the league supplying 4 of the 8 teams left in with 2 from the Wrexham area Welsh National league and 2 from the South Wales Alliance league
