Dylan Roberts receives Wesh Cup

United’s talented young goalkeeper Dylan Roberts enjoyed a dream visits to the Cardiff City Stadium to pick up his first cap for Wales.

Dylan presented with Welsh Cap at Cardiff

Dylan was presented with his cap for representing Wales in the Deaf Futsal squad during half time of the Wales Euro 2016 Qualifier against Bosnia.

It was a fine reward for Dylan’s achievements, who has been outstanding between the sticks since he joined United from Caernarfon Town in August 2013. He also represented Caernarfon Wanders before they folded.

Dylan said of receving the award: “If was such an achievement for me, it’s nice to be able to be there and be a part of it all. The atmosphere was amazing, and to be able to go on the pitch at half time in front of the whole stadium and a bumper crowd was a once in a lifetime experience.

Dylan who’s 23 years old, has been playing for the Deaf Futsal squad from more than an year, in February this year he travelled to Tel Aviv in Israel with the squad to play in a qualifying tournament .

Dylan added: “Although we didn’t qualify, it was still an experience for me to take part. And I’m hoping that I once again will get the opportunity to represent Wales, as our training starts next month”.
